Resurrection Rolls
Here's how to make the Resurrection Rolls Aunt JJ made in the Video "Matthew 28:1-10 Jesus is alive!"
Ingredients:
8 large marshmallows 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1/4 cup butter, melted 1 package crescent rolls |
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare a pan with foil (optional) and nonstick spray. Combine cinnamon and sugar in butter. Separate crescent roll triangles. Spread butter/cinnamon/sugar over crescent rolls. Place one marshmallow on each crescent roll. Think of the sinless body of Jesus. Wrap the crescent roll around the marshmallow. Think of how the body of Jesus was wrapped in cloths with spices. Be sure to pinch the seams of the crescent rolls closed. Spread the rolls out on the pan. Bake the rolls as directed on the crescent rolls package, usually around 8-10 minutes. Think of how the body of Jesus was placed in a tomb. Remove rolls when they are golden brown. Allow them to cool. When you bite into the crescent roll and see the marshmallow is gone, think of how Jesus' tomb was empty. Jesus is not dead. Jesus is alive! |
